AFC Bournemouth Match Reports FOOTBALL LEAGUE TWO
v MORECAMBE (A) 4-0
2nd May 2009
GOALS: Ward 7, Feeney 36, Pitman 43, 69.

The Cherries biggest away win of the season ensured a happy end to the season.
A first senior goal for Joel Ward broke the deadlock on 7 minutes. However, it took some excellent saves from Jalal to preserve the Cherries lead. Pitman and Goulding went close before Feeney struck with a wonderful strike. Goulding look set to add to the lead but was denied by a linesmen's offside flag. It wasn't long before Pitman did add to the scoreline with another well taken effort. HALF-TIME 2-0. The second half saw the Cherries turn the screw and after dominating for long periods Pitman put away his second and the Cherries fourth. Bournemouth went looking for a fifth but couldn't add to their already impressive tally.
