Yeovil are no strangers to AFC Bournemouth, spending much of their time in the same league. Promotion buddies, they have struggled to adapt to life in the Championship with ex-Cherry James Hayter topping their scorers chart with just 7. The last time we met Yeovil was only last season, where we did the double over them, winning 3-0 at home and 1-0 away. A Richard Hughes free-kick at Huish Park gave the Cherries all three points while at Dean Court its was Grabban, Arter and Pitman claiming the glory
You have to go back to the 2007/08 season to find the last time Yeovil beat the Cherries in the League. Brett Pitman got the consolation goal in a 2-1 defeat. Later in the season revenge was ours with a 2-0 victory at Dean Court with Danny Hollands and Sam Vokes (where are they now). Since then Yeovil have managed the odd draw but the Cherries have been victorious on 5 occasions with a 3-1 away victory being especially pleasant. The goals coming from Gregory, Fogden and Daniels.

VIEW FROM THE SOUTH END
Remember when Garry Johnson was rumoured to be in the running for the Cherries job. We wouldn’t have been disappointed. He has done a great job at Huish Park and deserves credit. But, Yeovil is his club as AFC Bournemouth is Eddie Howe’s and long may Mr Howe reign.
Its a sellout and being unlucky enough not to have a ticket I will be sitting at home in my deckchair soaking up the sun with Miss Stella, a tasty meat snack and the dulcet tones of Mr Williams. I shall refrain from coarse language, unless of course someone interrupts my listening pleasure and my dreams of us putting 3 past Liverpool for a famous Premiership victory.
PREDICTION: The form book all points to another emphatic victory for the Cherries, Will it be 2, 3, 4, 5 whatever it is we will want some more. However, I can see a difficult game ahead. Yeovil and Garry Johnstone will be well aware of how we operate and will be looking to stop us any way they can. And, let’s not forget they can score goals as well. Thankfully, Yeovil cannot defend and that means we will score. Based on all my excellent knowledge of predictions I am going to for a 5-2 victory for the mighty Cherries. Or, it might a 1-0 win. (Warning: remember our predictions are usually wrong).
