EDDIE HOWE: “Hugely disappointed with the result”

By -

AFC Bournemouth went to Everton looking for a positive result and according to Eddie Howe we didn’t get what we deserved.

The home side started brightly and scored with their first shot of the game. But, it didn’t take long for the Cherries to hit back as Marc Pugh struck on nine minutes after good work from Callum Wilson. The Toffees took the lead in the 64th minutes as Leighton Baines tucked away an Aaron Lennon ball that should have been dealt. The Cherries had a good shout for a penalty as Wilson was stopped by Stones, but no said the ref. Let’s see what they say on MOTD.
