Match Report: Burton Albion (H) 1-0
SENSATIONAL STRIKE SECURES POINTS | Brett Pitman takes his tally to six for the season with a sensational 25-yard contender for goal of the month. Victory for the Cherries makes its eight wins in nine.

Pitman set to volley into the top corner
Will make this part of the report short and simple. The Cherries were awful and Josh McQuoid looked completely lost and not sure what to do. Thankfully, Burton couldn’t find the net and the home side went in level.
HALF TIME 0-0.
The start of the second half saw a marked improvement from the Cherries, but they still looked out of sorts. The home side were creating half chances, but nothing threatening a breakthrough. As the hour mark approached Howe took off McQuoid and replaced him with Connell. The striker soon got involved but it wasn’t until around the 80th minute that the Cherries produced their first real chance of the half. Supa met a Feeney cross that looked destined for the top corner until the Burton keeper intervened. Minutes later Connell popped a perfect cross to Pitman who prodcued a wonder strike from 25 yards to secure the Cherries eighth victory in nine games.
