Match Report: v Brentford (A) 0-2
FOOTBALL LEAGUE TWO | 26th December 2008 | GOALS: None
Two poor defensive errors condemned the Cherries to thier first defeat in seven. The hosts dominated the first half and took the lead in the 22nd minute when Marcus Bean nodded in unchallenged.
Igoe called the Bees keeper into action on a couple of occassions but never really threatened. Brentford doubled thier lead on the stroke of half-time when Bean again rose unchallenged in the area to double the lead.
The second half saw Bradbury move up front and finally see the Cherries get into the game.
The Cherries had a couple of half shouts for a penalty turned down. Beyond this they struggled to get a shot on target and never really looked like troubling the Brentford defence.
