We all know what happened the last time we played Tottenham Hotspur. We got a good spanking from the best team seen at Dean Court in 2015/16.

The 5-1 beating was a reminder on how difficult the Premier League can be. But the Cherries were on a poor run of form, struggling with injuries and lacking goals. The meeting back in October 2015 was the first time that we had ever met Spurs in the league and only the second time ever. We beat them 3-1 in the famous Cherries FA Cup run of 1957.

WHAT DOES THE FORM GUIDE SAY?

As all Cherries fans know we have picked up 10 points from the last 4 games. Impressive form that has seen the Cherries reach 38 points and almost guaranteed Premier League safety. Today a point would help reinforce our destiny. Three points would undoubtedly help decide the destiny of the Premier League title. Personally, we don’t Spurs to win the title, we are going for Leicester.

Will AFC Bournemouth pick up any points at all today? The form guide suggests yes. But the form guide doesn’t determine the outcome of a match. Revenge for the loss earlier in the season is a good a motivator as any. Three points would guarantee Premier League safety, so there is plenty to play for.

TOTTENHAM, TOTTENHAM WHAT’S SCORE?

It is hard to decide. We have a sneaky feeling that we can get something from the game. But on the flip side we have a sneaky feeling that Spurs will have just enough to get all three points. My heart says a 3-2 win, while my head says a 1-0 win to Spurs.
