A LEAGUE TWO FOOTBALLERS LIFE FOR ME: The daily rigours of life at the bottom

Is that it? Can I go home now?

Supa Stevie Fletcher talks to the official AFC Bournemouth web site about a typical day.

We arrive at the ground at 10:00am for a 10:30am start.

Training is different every day which keeps us all on our toes; we will work very hard for about two hours and are usually done by 12:30pm. It is always good to see so many of the lads staying behind to put in extra work, shooting practice for example or an extra gym session.

Once I am done I shower and have some lunch before heading out on the school run! I pick my two daughters up and make dinner for them at home, then their books come out and we all sit down for some homework! By the time my wife comes in from work and we catch up I am totally shattered and am normally in bed by ten!

F**cking hell, I don’t know how they have the strength to play on Saturday, or god forbid twice in a week. Keep up the good work boys, imagine how good you might be if you trained for three hours a day.
