Seat: East stand Row P

What was the first match you attended and how old were you?

No idea, It was the mid-80s, with Harry in charge and people like Trevor Aylott in the team.

Who would be your first inductee into the Cherries Hall of Fame?

Mel Machin, for the Great Escape season.

Who would complete your Top 3 AFCB legends and why?

1. Fletch, because he’s Fletch.

2. James Hayter. He is the epitomy of the ‘Bournemouth player’: loyal, hard-working and makes the best of his ability.

3. Steve Jones, a great striker and all-round legend.

The most memorable match seen at Dean Court?

The Southern final of the Auto Windscreen Shield in 1998. Two-nil up after the away leg we couldn’t possibly lose… and yet we found ourselves 3-1 down and going out on away goals. Then up popped Franck Rolling with a last minute header, to send us to Wembley for the first time!

Best ever goal seen at Dean Court?

Favourite goal was Stephen Purches in the 2003 play-off final, but that wasn’t at Dean Court.
Mohammed Berthe scored an incredible free-kick in a pre-season friendly against someone, where he hit the ball harder than anyone I’ve ever seen. He turned out to be pretty rubbish.
Either that or Brett Pitman against Burton.

Favourite ever kit?

Any apart from the 92-94 abomination. TFTSE: What’s not to like, particularly liked the purple away kit.

The best manager to have sat in the AFC Bournemouth hot seat?

Sean O’Driscoll. I admire his approach to the game, and his emphasis on technique above everything else.

The best player to have come on loan to Dean Court?

Jermaine Defoe, of course.

Worst player to have ever graced the lush green grass at Dean Court?

Roger Boli was the most disappointing, but I can’t think there have been many regular first teamers worse than Callum Hart. The fact that he had an orange tan, ridiculous hair and wore a lycra body suit when it was cold didn’t do him any favours.

Funniest or most ridiculous moment at Dean Court?

Most ridiculous game was a Boxing Day game against Brentford. First Steve Cotterill managed to miss two penalties, then Vince Bartram sliced the ball into his own net in spectacular style.

If your old enough to remember, The South End or The North Stand?

South End. I used to stand the other side of the clock, about half way back. Seats behind the goal is a bad idea.

Who in your opinion is the best player in the current Cherries squad?

I think Steven Gregory will turn out to be much better than a lot of people expect.

What are your thoughts on the current chairman?

I think he’s probably doing a good job, but because his communication skills are so terrible he has alienated everyone. I don’t think people would have minded selling so many players if he had explained why he needed to do it.

Where do you see the club in five years time?

League One. Mid table. Maybe hoping to challenge for the play-offs; maybe hoping to avoid relegation.

If you won the EuroMillions how would you invest the cash in AFC Bournemouth?

I’d buy the stadium back, I’d look to bring in the next generation of fans by increasing the club’s profile in and around Bournemouth as a ‘community club’, and I’d invest in a young manager and a young squad playing great football.

Who is/are the opponent/opponents that you can’t stand the sight of?

None specifically, but I get annoyed by formerly ‘big’ teams and their fans who think they’re too big to be playing in our division.

A BIG THANKS to @andy_betts for his contribution
