EDDIE HOWE: “I think we deserved the win” as Cherries beat 9-men West Brom

By -

This Premier League lark is easy innit (not really). The Cherries managed a third victory in a row grabbing all 3 points with a Charlie Daniels penalty late on.

Albion where reduced to 10 men after 34 minutes and after the break Adam Smith slotted home the first from distance. With around 10 minutes to go Albion scored from a set peice and the game looked like it was heading for a draw. But Gosling was fouled very late on and Mike Dean gave the penalty. Was it a penalty? Definitely a foul but not so sure first contact was in the area. A bit more luck we haven’t been getting previously perhaps. Albion were reduced to 9 men late on as Rondon appeared to headbutt Gosling.
