The Official AFC Bournemouth website reported the following, ‘Striker Jeff Goulding has gone out on loan to Conference side Eastbourne.

Jimmy Quinn told the Daily Echo, “Jeff has picked up a few injuries and seems to have found it hard to adjust to full-time training. We had a lot of enquiries for him so I thought it would be good to get him out for a month to get some regular football and maybe score a few goals. If that happens, then you get a better player coming back. He’s there until the start of January and who’s to say he won’t come back a confident player who has scored a few goals. We’re always looking to improve and if that means sending players out on loan to get better players back or to see if there are better players out there then that’s what we’ll do.”

More fine words from the manager. The problem is Goulding has looked like one of the better choices up front. Why not ship out ‘Pot Noodle’ Pitman and give him a kick up the arse to show his position at the club is not as safe as he might think. With Goulding gone Quinn says maybe we can get in some better players. Who’s that then? Another fucking non-league striker, a Weymouth reject at that, with a record that hardly sets the world alight.

TheSouthEndSays We here at TFTSE are beginning to think that Mr Quinn is simply Kevin Bond in disguise, but without the Premier League connections. We are bored of listening to his rhetoric, giving us false hope and ultimately failing to deliver. Surely, its only a matter of time before Mr Quinn is on his way. The problem is, who the fuck would want his job? Jason Tindall?
