I know that Jeff Mostyn is not the most popular man at Dean Court. His dark glasses and simmering smile are enough to worry anyone.
But, I am always reading or hearing how he ruined our club. Personally, I think that’s a load of bollocks. Successive regimes have done little to eleviate any debt in fact have only added to a growing mountain and not even returned any success on the field. What happened to the debt we had when the ground was sold. Got around three and a half million for the ground and the debt seemed to be reduced by about…. nothing, strange that.
At least Mr Mostyn, dipped into his own pocket and kept the club afloat. He may have taken us into administration, but at least that means the clubs debts have been seriously reduced. How it goes from here is not his problem. Sometimes you have to go backwards to go forwards.
