JUAN ITURBE: £16 million man on his way to Dean Court. But, he’s not as good as Harry Arter

By -

It looks like the ‘Paraguayan Messi’ (even though he plays for Argentina) is on his way to Dean Court in a £1.1 million loan deal.

Are we really going to pay £1.1 million for a player for 5 months work. Are we really going to pay £16 million for him at the end of the season? Have we got that money to spend? After the news of AFC Bournemouth breaking the new FFP rules surely we should be looking to be a bit more thrifty. Seems not to be the case as Eddie Howe is alledgly looking to spend another £3m on Man Utd midfielder Ben Pearson and Scottish international Graham Dorrans. How many players do we need?

Anyway, here’s Juan Iturbe in action. Doesn’t look as good as Harry Arter and we only played £5000 for him. But, our man in Verona tells us he is a player that we ‘need’ in the Cherries team. Perhaps Eddie Howe is dreaming of Champions League football already.
