AFC Bournemouth are playing the Premier League champions. A team that includes Costa, Fabregas, Hazard and Terry amongst others. But, still a team that couldn’t beat tinpot AFC Bournemouth on their own patch.
The victory at Stamford bring will stay in the hearts and minds of Cherries fans for many years to come. It will stay in Chelsea fans minds for a different reason. There is no doubt that Chelsea has under-performed this season, but they are still a team full of talent. In contrast AFC Bournemouth are a team that has performed beyond most’s expectations, worked hard and got their rewards. Will AFCB win today? We don’t think so, but if we do we will be on the same points total as the champions. Who would have thought that at the beginning of the season

WHO’S IN FORM?
The form guide for both sides is hardly great reading. We have managed 6 points out a possible 15 while Chelsea have amassed 5 out of a possible 15. AFC Bournemouth have two wins, while Chelsea have a win and two draws. Both teams have wins over Aston Villa, which this season has been a guaranteed three points. Villa should let anyone who wants to go to their games get in for free. Both teams have lost to Man City recently, but Chelsea only let in three, one less than us. So not much between the team in recent weeks
Chelsea has a wealth of talent at is disposal and it is still hard to believe how little they have achieved this season. They might be lucky to break the 50-point barrier. Today might be the day where that talent shines through. We have been thinking that all season and after a recent upturn in form they seem to have got back to early season form. However, we have said that all the tops team are not in great form and they have come to Dean Court and beaten us. Do we see this happening today. Yes, if we play like we did against Spurs and City, and I don’t want to sit through that again. It was boring. I cannot see us doing the double over Chelsea, but I cannot see Chelsea beating us, so the only outcome is a draw. But, let’s hope it’s an entertaining draw that will make top spot on Match of the Day.
CHELSEA, CHELSEA WHAT’S THE SCORE?
So, now it’s onto the inevitable stab at the final score. The opportunity to do the double over the Premier League champions must be more than enough motivation to get the three points. A fast start would be fantastic, and that’s what is going to happen with the Cherries going in front early on. But, the defence won’t be able to hold on and the Blues will put one away in the second half. Bet it doesn’t happen like that at all.
WISHFUL WIN: 2-0 (Wilson, Cook)
HEART WIN: 1-0 (Cook)
HEAD DRAW: 1-1 (Cook)
MORE HOME WINS
We expect the mighty AFC Bournemouth to always give their best, but more home wins are want the fans want. Here’s what Eddie Howe had to say in his pre-match interview.
