According to the Daily Mirror Notts County are set to go into administration within the next 48 hours. That will be an immediate 10-point deduction, effectively ending their promotion hopes.
It seems they are also trying to get rid of Kasper Schmeichel who reportedly earns £18,000 a week. Lee Hughes is reported to be on £4,500 a week while Karl Hawley earns £3000 a week. That’s £25,500 a week on just three players, so much for the wage cap. Perhaps, if the useless halfwits at the FL has not been so guilible perhaps County wouldn’t be in this situation.
