Schmeichel: Oh no I didn’t

By -

NC keeper Kasper Schmeichel has denied creating the nonsense known as ‘Doorgate’ He told the Nottingham Evening Post “No I did not kick the door in. The door to go into the Bournemouth dressing room opens outwards… so it would be a bit pointless kicking it”…

“I pulled the door open and it was lighter than I thought and it opened with a bang.

“And there was no damage. The hinges didn’t come off.

“I used that door a couple more times, to go out and in for a warm down and leaving to go on the bus and it was in perfect working order so where that has come from I have no idea.”

The Daily Echo wrote that the Cherries directors are due to decide whether they will pursue Notts County after the away dressing room door was damaged during the Magpies’ visit to Dean Court on Tuesday.

Apparently, considerable damage was sustained with the wooden frame surrounding the double doors torn away from the wall, while hinges fitted to a spring mechanism were also hanging off.

It’s a f**king door, I cannot believe its getting so much publicity and what’s worse I cannot believe I am even writing a post about this shit.
