AFC Bournemouth old boy offers his thoughts, prediction and words of wisdom for the game

Who could ever forget that game. You know the one when we beat Doncaster 5-0. It was 10 years ago and Eddie Howe scored. Then there is the small matter of them beating us last season and going up as Champions. Gone but not forgotten.

The signs are good, the last two times we played Doncaster at their ground we beat them 1-0. Unfortunately, we haven’t beaten them at home for a while, the last two home matches have ended in defeat. This is not going to happen tomorrow. Little Tokelo is going to be at his speedy best ready to outwit the giants in defence. Well he wont be outwitting them, he will simply be much quicker than them. Perhaps, he could outwit them with a few difficult maths questions.

After neglecting my beloved AFC Bournemouth, well I missed one game, but it still feels like cheating on a girlfriend. So I will be back tomorrow with a big bunch of flowers, a sheepish smile, before indulging in my favourite past time, drinking the golden delights of my other favourite female companion Miss Stella Artois. After a few of these I shall be ready to shout a few obscenities, crack a few crap jokes and make the odd rude gesture at the cheery souls from up North. I have especially booked my ticket near the away fans so we can have plenty of happy and productive interaction.

PREDICTION: Its difficult not to be optimistic about the score. I have never really rated Doncaster, not even when they won the league. I still thought we were a better team than them. Plus, I have never liked Paul Dickov very much, he seems to talk a lot of shite and I don’t think he is a very good manager. With all that positivity I wish to continue in such a vein and offer a scoreline in favour of the Cherries, by the massive margin of two goals. Could be 6-4 or even 5-3, but we are going for a less exciting 3-1. COYR (Warning: remember our predictions are usually wrong).

In traditional striker fashion Brett Pitman claimed the only goal of the game with a deft header
