THE OFFICIAL VIEW

LEE BRADBURY TALKS ABOUT LOSS TO CHARLTON

LEE BRADBURY gives his reaction:

“We put in a good performance and the lads worked really hard for each other. The reaction after we scored showed how together we are as a group.

“It was a nightmare start going down 1-0 so early so I thought we showed a lot of character to come back.

“There were a lot of positives out there. We played some good football but we had to mix it up to get something out of the game.”

CARLISLE manager Greg Abbott:

“Lee and Russell were trying to get our man into trouble and I just tried to stop it. The next thing I knew, I was sitting in the stand.

“The referee will make what he wants of it but it spoiled it. I didn`t like the way they reacted to Liam. I think that is wrong.

“I thought me being sent to the stand was ridiculously harsh but that is the way it goes.”

THE TFTSE VIEW

A goal from MilesAddison stopped the rot, but to be frank the first half was probably the worst I have seen the Cherries play for a while. But, we still created enough chances to get a goal and lets be honest once Lee Miller hit the ball it was always going to end up in the back of the net. Forgetting the first 45 mins the second were much better but still nowhere near as good as the performance against Charlton. Play shit and get a point. Play well and get nothing. Strange.

Wes Thomas is a man lacking confidence and he really needs to start hitting the net soon. However, he did get more chances when Stockley came on and this should be the preferred pairing against Brentford. If it doesn’t work then change it. The defence played reasonably well, with Charlie Daniels looking more like the player we bought. Miles Addision is a big unit in defence, and for those who say Zuber should play, there really isn’t much difference. Zubar is probably quicker but his distribution is basic, much like Addison.

Another point against Brentford and a goal for Thomas or Stockley and things will start to look up. Finishing tenth is all that we would have expected at the start of the season and it seems like that is where we are going to end.
