AFC BOURNEMOUTH: Choose your Cherries goal of 2009

By -

The Football League has launched the search to find the Mitre Goal of the Year 2009. The official AFCB site is asking for supporters help in deciding which goal should be selected. And the nominations are…

a) Mark Molesley | 24.02.09 v Dagenham & Redbridge.
Scoring the winner in the 93rd minute to gain three valuable points.

b) Brett Pitman | 10.03.09 v Exeter City.
Excellent away victory marked by Brett running the length of the pitch beating every defender in sight and slotting home. Pure gold.

c) Brett Pitman | 26.09.09 v Burton Albion.
A dull game lit up by a sensational strike from 35 yards, and the Albion keeper kicking the post as it went in.

d) Liam Feeney | 26.12.09 v Cheltenham
Feeney’s solitary strike after beating a couple of defenders and curling into the top corner was pure class.

Visit the official AFCB website for more details on how to vote.
