FA Cup giant killing?

By -

The Cherries skipped past old rivals Bristol Rovers with the almost inevitable scoreline of 1-0. Can’t remember the last time the Pirates managed to even score against us, but I’m sure someone will tell me. Nice to see Kuffour forget where the goal was. The second round draw has thrown up a home draw against Shrewsbury slayers, Blue Square North side Blyth Spartans.
A quick look at the draw and it will already being looked at as a possible upset and one ITV may put on the small screen. There is no doubt a victory over League Two high flyers Shrewsbury is not mean feat. The Cherries are hardly prolific in the FA Cup so I’m sure everyone apart from Cherries fan will being looking for the Spartans to win. The media love some sort of FA Cup fairy tale. Lets just hope Blyth Spartans dont repeat their cup heroics of the late 70’s, when they reached the 5th Round. Lets hope it’s more like a repeat of the 57/58 Cherries cup run. Bring Man Uin the 3rd round. COMME OONN YOOOUU REDS!!!!
