Notts County MAD
According to Notts County MAD Not everything in life is black and white
Notts. County face a trip to Bournemouth at Dean Court on Saturday afternoon, hoping to improve upon an average previous return from this fixture. Of the 31 games played, Magpies have recorded 8 wins, and Bournemouth have come away with 15 victories.
The most recent encounter between these two sides was just last season, in August 2010, when they fought out a thrilling high-scoring 3 – 3 draw in a League One match.
PREDICTION: FootyMad see this game edging towards a narrow win for the Cherries, as the Magpies have been none too clever on the road in recent matches. Home win
‘BIG’ STEVE SPANGLER
TFTSE regular and AFC Bournemouth old boy offers his thoughts for the game
I thought I might do something different for a change and really push the boat out and go to a different pub before the game. I probably won’t so instead I am going to try a drink that I have never drunk before and I’m not talking Babycham or Cinzano, tried those in the 80’s. I was thinking maybe a Bailey’s and vodka mix topped off with a Stella, who knows. I think I may forego the usual option of a swear word and think of something to bait Mr Hughes with, but he’s so thick-skinned, or stupid, it wont make any difference.
PREDICTION: Games against Notts County usually fall in favour of the northem team, but there have been some great draws. Goulding scoring in injury time to get a draw away from home. And, of course the 3-3 game at Dean Court, but we shall say no more. It’s time for fortunes to change, 3-1 to Bournemouth and Lee Hughes to score and then break a leg.

Bournemouth manager Lee Bradbury:
“We have played County regularly in recent seasons and we always have good and competitive matches against them. They won away at a Championship side last weekend, so they are going to be full of confidence. They had a dip in form before that, but have recovered well. We know it’s a game we have to start well because with Martin Allen in charge, you know that we will face a very committed team, but that’s what I have as well as we proved at Walsall. We have a few players back in training and we will have to see how they settle down, but it looks as if we have some good options for the game.”
