FOOTBALL LEAGUE TWO
4th October 2008
GOALS: Hollands 57

A third successive victory was too much to ask as the Cherries lost out to table toppers Wycombe.

With an enviable home record the hosts stuck to thier task and struck first with Matt Harrold slotting home in the 40th minute.

HALF TIME 1-0.

The second half saw the Cherries get back in the game early on with Hollands nodding home in 57th minute.

However, it was the man in black who got himself noticed letting go what seemd like a foul for the second Wycombe goal. To continue his good work he booked Brett Pitman for a dive rather than giving a penalty. This caused the Cherries to lose concentration and allow Wycombe to sew up the points with a third with six minutes to go.
