AFC Bournemouth fans have seen some sensational goals. Matt Ritchie against Sunderland is one that instantly springs to mind.

It may not be on the spectacular scale, but Junior Stanislas’s goal in extra, extra time against Everton and Nathan Ake’s against Liverpool have to be the most wildly celebrated goal since our rise to the top. But, looking to the season just past we cannot think of a much better goal than the one Steve Cook scored against Liverpool. His drag down, turn and shot had the quality of a £20m striker. If Alexis Sanchez had scored that goal it would have got a lot more airtime.

STEVE COOK’S BEST EVER GOAL?

Is his strike against Liverpool his best ever? We think it is one of his best. There are few other contenders, so we decided to ask the man himself and see what his favourite was.

Watch the highlights below and bask in the glory of Cook’s super strike (10m 30s) and Ake’s late, late winner.

STEVE COOK’S SENSATIONAL STRIKES – PART 2

Steve Cook’s goal against Liverpool was good, but what about his strike away at Fulham back in 2015? What about his smart (ass) back heel away to Aston Villa and we cannot forget his stunning overhead kick away to Ipswich back in the Championship days. All have the hallmarks of a top-class striker and that’s only 4 of his goals, but still three more than Cherries legendary striker Chukki Eribenne.

We know which goal Mr Cook himself rates and we know which one sits top of our list of Steve Cook super strikes. But, which sits at the top of yours? Sit back, enjoy the goals and vote for your favourite. Steve Cook you are an AFCB legend, long may you reign (and not join anyone else).
